My husband, Allan, and I had the loveliest dinner with Chef Ed and friends last Saturday night. The moment we walked into the dining room, we immediately felt a welcoming ambiance with the warm decor, gorgeous flowers, and the beautifully laid table. I loved the color on the walls too, and somehow the bourbon cocktail seemed to tie it all together!

We’ve been fans of Ed’s for years but have never gotten this close- being in the kitchen with him and the food was such a cool experience! We were impressed from the very first bite, the quality and freshness of the ingredients inspired us to go to the Farmer’s Market in Marin the next day! The wine pairings were perfectly orchestrated. The most impressive dish in my opinion was hands down the pork belly, cured in vanilla and lavender, it was so deliciously good. None of us at the table had ever had anything like it. Incredible.

I could go on but I’d rather just thank you, Chef Ed, and staff for a truly remarkable experience.

Last night Vernon & I had a fantastic time at Anaviv. Our beautiful food adventure started the minute we walked through the door. Our hostess made us feel very special and she had impeccable service. She also mixed an exceptional delicious Bourbon Smash.

There was nothing on the menu that we didn’t enjoy. Such a wide variety of Culinary Delights. I loved the chef explaining each dish when it was served. Knowing what were eating and how it was prepared helped us enjoy all the flavors. And our hostess made sure we knew which wine was being served to compliment each dish.
